Congratulations : People over 55 who are ready to change themselves in order to create a more sustainable world! WELCOME!! Let’s create a community of Conscious Leaders, Responsible Elders, Creative Visionaries, Stellar Teachers and Caring Mentors. We are a generation of seekers, consciously aware of the importance of a sustainable lifestyle, staying vibrantly healthy and living with abundance. These are just a few of our deeply held values that guide our choices. We do not settle for mediocrity …
This group is intended to be an open network of mostly experienced backpackers, of the boomer age (you can use your own definition, but 45 to 60 plus or minus is my concept). Generally trips should be moderately paced, 6 to 8 miles a day, up to 1500 feet of gain. Everyone in the group is welcome to organize a trip, and the settings for the group allow anyone to do that. So, if you have a trailhead reservation and want some companions, feel free to post a trip. A few suggested groundrules. Fi …
… This community is geared toward "Baby Bloomers" and "Gen neXters" but welcomes whoever feels at home. The Boomers started exceeding expectations the moment they were born, and Gen Xers joined them. Second Act is all about helping them continue to surprise the world–and themselves–with their talent, passion and potential. These are the generations that are eagerly ditching the midlife crisis in favor of a midlife opportunity. Reinvention, not retirement I'm excited to be the organizer of Second …

… And though we are mostly Boomers, all ages are welcome. Co-ed. And...it's a completely relaxed, non-intimidating environment. You will find a very friendly, welcoming group -- without a hint of attitude or competition. We are all just there to get some exercise and have fun. There is no need to RSVP. But I do recommend getting on my weekly email list, so you can stay up to date on schedule changes and special events. Email me directly at: marciejudelson@comcast.net. We dance every Saturday mo …
These days, most of the dance clubs and social meetup groups are focused on music from the 80s and later, from hair metal to house to hip-hop to funk/R&B to DJ mashups and the like. What is missing is a group with an emphasis on live band music from oldies rock and roll, to classic 60s rock (the British invasion, beach music, folk and acid rock, etc.) through the more popular 70s rock (Eagles, Doobies, etc.) You know the kind of music I am talking about! Well, THIS IS IT! Dancing to live music …
Remember how women used to gather at each other's homes to make quilts, share their skills and mentor each other? Let's do it!
We'll gather in each other's homes to foster life-long friendships, while teaching each other how to make treasures from trash.
Always FREE ~ ALL AGES WELCOME! ~

Through moves and divorces and untimely deaths, maybe your circle of friends is not as large as you would like. This group is intended for East Bay women in their fifties and sixties who want to meet new friends for social and cultural events and outings.
"Why are women so crazy?" "Why are men so shallow?" "How do I best express to someone when I am interested (or not interested) romantically?" Do you find yourself asking these questions when you meet someone of the opposite sex? If you are Black, single, between the ages of 35 and 50, and seriously interested in a healthy, long-term relationship, then you should attend these meetups. You should also attend these meetups if you want to: - have healthier, more confident conversations with the opp …
