Where Will We Retire?

Where will we babyboomers wind up in retirement? Will we stay local, close to family and friends? Will we follow our grown children and grandchildren who have moved away, for reasons such as being close to family as we age and need help? Will we start communes with (old hippies that we are) and share expenses and help each other? Will groups of friends plan to move to the same area so there is comfort in their shared history? Will we move to other countries such as Costa Rica or Panama?
Whenever I discuss this with babyboomers, I am always amazed how many people have information about different regions -- cost of living, climate, quality of life, etc. For several years I have wanted to start a discussion group where everyone can share their knowledge regarding this. After just reading the book "Leap," I thought I'd take "The Leap" and get started. (By the way, a great book if this topic interests you.)
