- Hi ALL fellow baby boomers! I was born in 1950. Age 19 in 1969 at the height of the counter-culture days. I was here in Wash, D.C. and attended all protests on the mall. It was my generation and I loved everything about it especially the music!

- Do your political views reflect the counter-culture?

My political views are pretty much consistent with how I felt in the counter-culture days - I am against the war in Iraq and feel very much that 'power to the people' is more important now than ever!
- Were you a part of the counter-culture in the late 60's?

I was totally involved and very anti-establishment to the point that did not want a diamond ring when I got married. I can't say I would feel the same about a diamond ring today - not that I am looking for one!
- What is your favorite music?

I love all the classic rock and musicians from the late 60's and early 70's. I feel very nostolgic about music played at Woodstock. I also enjoy music from the 80's and some classical music. My favorite is Chopin's piano music.
- Where were you in 1969?

Here in the Washington, DC area, in my first year of college right smack in the middle of the anti-war movement & protests. I got tear-gased protesting the Vietnam war and advocating civil rights by the police (at that time known as 'pigs').
